NICOLEHOLLIS, an award-winning, large size Interior Design firm, seeks a talented and motivated Product Designer. The Product Designer will develop the inaugural home collection, designing products that meet customer needs and align with the NICOLEHOLLIS brand. This is an opportunity to join an established brand at a critical stage with potential for growth.

The responsibilities include concept development, sketching, creating technical drawings, collaborating with makers, and ensuring quality standards. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, knowledgeable about market trends, customer preferences, and the product development process for luxury furniture, accessories, and art. They should be excited to work with a diverse team on various home decor products.

Qualifications include a portfolio of relevant design projects, experience in product design, a degree in Product Design or a related field, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of materials and manufacturing, and strong communication skills.

This role is based in San Francisco, with a WFO schedule of 4 days a week and 1 day optional WFH.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stay updated with current trends and customer preferences.
  2. Create innovative luxury products (accessories, decor, soft goods, furniture) aligned with the brand.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design objectives.
  4. Develop sketches and technical drawings.
  5. Work with makers and manufacturers to ensure accurate production.
  6. Conduct product testing and quality assurance.
  7. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
  8. Manage the product development process from concept to launch.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio.
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
