Job summary

Chess.com is seeking a thoughtful Product Designer to own the Courses experience across web and mobile. You will craft engaging, habit-forming learning journeys, collaborate with Product, Engineering, Copywriters, and leadership, and ensure our design system guides every pixel.

You’ll build interactive prototypes, translate user insights into high-fidelity concepts, and guide projects from concept through implementation while advocating for fun, social, and consistent experiences across

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience designing consumer-facing products or games.
• Portfolio showing interface and UX design.
• Strong UI fundamentals including typography, color, layout, and interactivity.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
• Familiarity with large design systems and translating design to code.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of the Courses product experience on Chess.com.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Copywriters, and leadership to define problems and craft solutions.
