Job summary
The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Product Design professional to help evolve and scale the design system powering our consumer products across mobile, desktop, and connected TV. You will focus on reusable patterns, shape scalable UX frameworks, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive adoption.
The role requires strong UX judgment, curiosity about emerging tech, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders; a bachelor’s degree is required and experience with AI-enabled design
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
- Strong foundation in UX and product design.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Proficient in Figma with components, tokens, and variables.
- Experience with design systems and cross‑platform consistency.
Responsibilities
- Define and scale a design system that supports consumer-facing products across mobile, desktop, and connected TV.
- Design reusable interaction patterns and scalable UX frameworks for multiple use cases.
- Build and maintain components, design tokens, and variables across design tools and code bases.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to drive adoption and consistency.
- Contribute to system standards, documentation, and governance.
- Utilize AI to enable efficient workflows that improve product creation.
- Present design decisions and rationale to stakeholders including senior leaders.
