The designer will partner closely with product development, manufacturing, sourcing, and global supplier teams to develop designs that reflect emerging trends while accounting for materials, product construction, manufacturing capabilities, and technical requirements. This role will work in a hybrid way approximately four days a week in the office from our Dalton, Georgia corporate campus.

  • Partner with Product Development, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and global supplier teams to refine concepts based on materials, product construction, manufacturing capabilities, and technical requirements.
  • Develop coordinated design stories, palettes, and visual platforms that support differentiation across multiple residential brands, product categories, and retail channels.
  • Generate a high volume of design concepts supporting active product-development priorities and future opportunity exploration.
  • Explore emerging trends, materials, technologies, manufacturing capabilities, and consumer preferences to identify future product opportunities and market whitespace.
  • Create, organize, and document physical and digital product, material, and design libraries to support accessibility, collaboration, and long‑term value.
  • Present product concepts, trend insights, and design recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders and incorporate feedback into future design directions.
  • Collaborate across regions and time zones, including with Asia‑Pacific sourcing and manufacturing partners, to support product design and development activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Textile Design, Surface Design, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of professional design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite especially Adobe Photoshop, including photo editing, image manipulation, pattern or layout development, and color adjustment.
  • Strong understanding of color, pattern, scale, design principles, trend forecasting, and product development.
  • Ability to translate creative concepts into clear visual assets that can be used by product‑development and manufacturing partners.
  • Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% for trade shows, customer and partner visits, market research, and other business needs.
  • Ability to collaborate across global time zones, including occasional evening calls with Asia‑Pacific partners.
