Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Product Designer to shape the UX of developer tools for autonomy and mission-critical systems. You will own the design from concept through launch, translating complex requirements into intuitive interfaces for both commercial and defense customers.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and defense experts, build high-fidelity prototypes, and contribute to a scalable design system while advocating for user needs in fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• Experience working on automotive products or real-time simulation UIs.
• Strong portfolio of user-centered and visual design work.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Experience establishing, running and collating user research.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to launch.
• Translate complex requirements into elegant, user-centric design solutions.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct user research with commercial and defense personnel.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and defense experts.
• Maintain a consistent design system across products.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle.
