Job summary

Catapult Solutions Group seeks a mid-level Product Designer to craft thoughtful experiences for professional users of complex, web-based software. You will translate workflows into clear, usable interfaces and collaborate with product and engineering teams.

You'll own end-to-end design from discovery through prototyping, user research, and usability testing, using Figma and AI-assisted tools to iterate with feedback from customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

We're looking for a mid-level Product Designer to create thoughtful, polished experiences for professional users working in complex, web-based software. You'll design products that people use throughout their workday, taking complicated workflows and turning them into clear, efficient, and highly usable experiences.

This role requires strength across both UX and UI design, with particular emphasis on polished visual execution. You'll own work throughout the design process, including understanding requirements, designing and prototyping solutions, gathering feedback directly from users, and partnering with Product and Engineering to bring experiences to life.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional Product Design experience, ideally around the 3–5 year level.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, usability, and end-to-end product design.
• Strong visual/UI design skills and attention to detail.
• Experience designing complex web-based software, productivity tools, or applications used extensively throughout a user's workday.
• Ability to independently conduct user research and usability testing with customers or end users.
• Strong interaction design and UX fundamentals.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Experience using Claude or similar AI-assisted design/prototyping tools.
• Experience working collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering.
• Comfortable presenting work, participating in critiques, receiving feedback, and iterating quickly.
