Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior product designer to lead end-to-end design for data-intensive products used by engineers, researchers, and product teams. You will shape the learning loop, create clear workflows, and translate complex technical systems into coherent product experiences.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, research, and product management to establish interaction patterns for AI-native workflows and ensure enterprise-wide consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience owning data products, observability platforms, or analytics tooling.
• Strong product and systems thinking with ability to set direction in ambiguous spaces.
• Ability to translate technical infrastructure into coherent product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for data-intensive products used by engineers, researchers, and product teams.
• Shape the complete learning loop: instrument, launch, observe, investigate, evaluate, decide, and iterate.
• Create clear workflows for querying, filtering, comparison, drill-down, visualization, alerting, and sharing.
• Make complex concepts like data freshness, coverage, reliability, uncertainty, and experiment results understandable and actionable.
• Partner with engineering, data science, research, and product management to translate technical infra into elegant product experiences.
• Use prototyping and research to establish patterns for emerging AI-native workflows.
• Define shared systems and patterns to ensure consistency across enterprise tools.
• Set a high bar for information architecture, visual hierarchy, interaction quality across multi-surface products.
