Position Title: Product Designer 2

Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Product Designer 2 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This role is remote with PST hours preferred.

Job Description:

• The main function of a Product Designer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) to support business requirements.
• What makes this role interesting? - This role provides the opportunity to work on major product lines – both in the current product offering space as well as upcoming product space.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
• Purpose of the Team: This team is part of the Design Org. working on developing existing dashboard concepts.
• Key projects: We're looking for a mid-level Product Designer 2 to help augment a few work areas across Places. Working on dashboards – design flush out of already developed specs and working on mods related to feedback.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 60% design, 20% adjustments based on feedback, 20% admin work.

Job Qualifications:

• Must Have 2 years’ Experience in FIGMA Design tooling
• Must Have 2 years’ experience UX design
• Must Have 2 years’ experience with web tech familiarity
• 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
• No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Hands on UX experience. Large company/corporate experience a plus. Candidates should have excellent UX/UI skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in communication and task management is a must. I'd prefer individuals with at least 2-3 years of experience in tech and/or agency. Data dense experience would be ideal
• Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML)
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Location: Redmond, WA (This role is remote with PST hours preferred).
• Pay Range: $46/hr. to $57.50/hr.
• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
