Job summary

HartleyCo in Redwood City is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape how businesses build, deploy and manage AI agents. You’ll own projects from discovery through shipped software, collaborating with founders, engineers and customers to craft clear, trustworthy experiences for configuring complex agent workflows.

Ideal candidates bring strong visual and interaction craft, a portfolio of shipped products, and examples of taking ownership end-to-end; direct voice AI experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong visual and interaction craft with a portfolio of shipped products.
• Experience taking ownership from problem definition through launch.
• Familiarity with no-code builders, automation, developer tools, or complex B2B SaaS is a plus.

I’m working with a voice AI company that’s hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape how businesses build, deploy and manage AI agents.

The interesting part is the design challenge: giving users the power to configure complex agent workflows while making the experience feel clear, intuitive and trustworthy.

You’ll work closely with founders, engineers and customers, owning projects from early discovery through to polished, shipped software.

The scope includes:

• Designing agent-building, testing and monitoring workflows
• Making technical controls accessible to business users
• Helping customers understand agent behaviour and recover when things go wrong
• Running customer research and influencing product priorities
• Evolving the design system as the platform grows

I’m particularly interested in designers who’ve worked on no-code builders, automation, developer tools, AI agents or complex B2B SaaS.

You should bring strong visual and interaction craft, a portfolio of shipped products and clear examples of taking ownership from problem definition through launch. Direct voice AI experience is a bonus.

Location: Redwood City, onsite Monday to Friday

Compensation: $180K-$230K base + equity
