Tase in Houston is seeking a product designer to own design across iOS and web, shaping voice-first and visual experiences from onboarding to marketing. You’ll collaborate with the founder and engineers to set the bar and defend it in build reviews.
You’ll translate vague ideas into crisp specifications, define interaction patterns for a voice-first assistant, prototype features, and maintain a cohesive visual system across surfaces while owning the end-to-end design outcome.
Most apps are designed as a grid of buttons. Tase is designed as a conversation. That requires a designer who thinks in flows, not just screens, and who cares deeply about the moment-to-moment feel of talking to something that is supposed to help.
You will own product design across the iOS app and the web. That covers the voice interface, the task and finance surfaces, the AI Brain, onboarding, and the marketing site. You will work directly with the founder and the engineers. There is no design department. You set the bar and you defend it in build reviews.
Define the interaction patterns for a voice-first assistant that also has a rich visual surface. Prototype new features and stress-test them before engineering touches them. Maintain a coherent visual system across iOS, web, and marketing. Make the hard calls about what to leave out. Turn vague product ideas into crisp, buildable specifications.
