Tase seeks an experienced iOS engineer to lead the SwiftUI iOS app, working directly with the founder. You will own features end to end, from the voice pipeline to the data layer to the final pixel on screen, with no separate mobile team. The role centers on real-time voice and a glass-based interface system.
Ideal candidates ship production iOS apps, have strong Swift/SwiftUI skills, and excel in fast-moving, hands-on environments that prioritise user experience and latency optimization.
Tase is a voice-first personal assistant. The iOS app is where most people meet the product, and the quality of that meeting decides everything. We need an engineer who can hold the whole client in their head and ship the kind of interaction polish that makes an assistant feel alive.
You will be the primary engineer on the iOS app, working directly with the founder. The app is SwiftUI-native, targets iOS 26, and uses Liquid Glass throughout. You will own features end to end, from the voice pipeline to the data layer to the final pixel on screen. There is no separate mobile team to hand things off to. You are the mobile team.
Build and maintain the SwiftUI app, with a focus on the real-time voice experience and the glass-based interface system. Work on the audio pipeline that carries voice to and from the model. Ship features across tasks, finance, health, goals, and the AI Brain memory system. Profile and optimize for the moments where latency matters most. Make the small interaction decisions that compound into something that feels good to use every day.
