Job summary

CHAMP is seeking a highly organized Product Designer to shape government technology. You will work with state agencies and service providers to understand users and relentlessly improve their experience, conducting user research, mapping journeys, and designing intuitive flows that support measurable outcomes.

Based onsite in Cleveland, you will collaborate with PMs and engineers, lead research, map service blueprints, and translate insights into actionable design iterations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of product or UX design experience with focus on research and iterative improvement.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user research, iterative problem-solving, and clean UI/UX design.
• Expertise in journey mapping, user flows, and experience audits.
• Ability to balance short-term UX wins with long-term design vision.
• Strong communication skills—you can clearly explain design decisions and user rationale.
• Ability to synthesize feedback and data into thoughtful design iteration.
• Experience navigating constraints and getting creative to uncover real user needs.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience and skills.
