PlanIT Group is seeking a Product Designer to support our customer in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate should be an experienced Product Designer to play a key role in enhancing product-market fit for our web applications. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and iterating new product features to improve usability and deliver value to users, working closely with product managers, engineers, and customers.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (preferred). We are seeking a local candidate but are open to remote applicants across the U.S. for an exceptional fit.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to enhance our application web applications. Responsibilities include designing, testing, and iterating features, understanding user needs through research, validating ideas via testing, leveraging analytics, and championing user feedback. The focus is on simplifying workflows related to digital stockpile data to help users unlock value and improve operations. This role offers the chance to influence product success in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development to improve product-market fit by understanding user needs and business goals.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and iterate based on feedback.
• Refine workflows for interacting with digital stockpile data to enhance usability.
• Conduct user research to uncover insights, pain points, and opportunities, informing strategy and validating ideas.
• Collaborate on A/B testing and analyze user data to optimize features for engagement and retention.
• Ensure consistent user experience across web and mobile interfaces.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• 5+ years of product design/UX research experience with a proven track record reaching large user bases and solving real problems.
• Flexible, iterative mindset comfortable with experimentation and rapid development.
• Deep understanding of user retention, engagement, and analytics-driven design.
• Proficiency in user research methods and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
