Apple is building a new Product Design lab and seeks a Lab Engineer to own it end to end. You will shape the space during construction, bring it online, and run day-to-day operations on-site, partnering with Product Design engineers.

The ideal candidate works both at the CNC mill in the morning and on layout/calibration planning in the afternoon, acting as the sole lab engineer with a support network for deeper builds.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC milling machine and turning concepts into physical parts.
• Ability to plan equipment layout and calibration workflows on a design lab.
• Comfort working as the sole engineer on-site with cross-functional partners.

Responsabilités

• Own the new Product Design lab end to end from construction to operation.
• Shape the space, bring it online, and run day-to-day lab activities.
• Collaborate with Product Design engineers on build requests and problems.
• Balance hands-on machining with planning and documentation on whiteboards.
