Job summary

Clerkie is seeking a Product Design Intern to join our growing design team. The internship lasts 3 to 9 months with the goal of converting into a full-time role.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across brand, marketing, and product design, working closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams. As an intern, you’ll design brand assets and collaborate with Product, GTM, and Engineering for visual consistency across experiences, supported by a strong portfolio and proficiency with Figma

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Design Intern to join our growing Design team. The internship lasts 3 to 9 months, with the goal of converting the role into a full‑time position. The position offers hands‑on experience across brand, marketing, and product design, working closely with senior designers and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design brand assets that support marketing, sales, and partnership initiatives, including pitch decks, landing pages, collateral, and campaign visuals.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, GTM, and Engineering teams to ensure visual alignment across external and internal experiences.
• Support and evolve Clerkie’s visual identity and brand system.
• Contribute to product and UX work—especially web and mobile designs—while growing in your role.
• Provide fresh ideas, thoughtful feedback, and high‑impact contributions to the design team.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and visual design skills, particularly in brand, visual, or marketing design work.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Collaborative, curious mindset with a desire to learn product and UX design.
• Eye for detail and passion for great aesthetics.
• Excellent communication of ideas.
• Coachability, adaptability, growth mindset, and eagerness to learn.
• Solid grasp of visual‑design fundamentals: typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.
• For the role to be a good fit, you should be an early‑career designer, such as first or second design‑level experience.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience designing for digital products or UX.
• Exposure to design thinking principles or cross‑functional product teams.
• Prior startup or fast‑paced environment experience.
• Basic knowledge of responsive web or mobile design.
• Familiarity with marketing tools or CMS platforms.
• Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D.
