Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design (HCD, interaction, visual), or a design-related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in one of our offices in summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• You will develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design shapes experiences in autonomous and command & control domains.
• You will define experiences based on goals, business, customer, and user needs.
• You will hone visual and interaction design skills using typography, color, iconography, and layout.
• You will work with your manager to develop design communication and presentation skills.
• You will present designs to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• You will own a feature or workflow end-to-end: discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation with engineers.
• You will collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers to define solutions.
