Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, invites a design student or recent graduate to contribute to software product design for autonomous and command & control domains. You will learn to shape experiences through typography, color, layout, and prototyping, aligning with product goals and user needs.

Collaborating with product designers, research, PMs, and engineers, you will own a feature end-to-end—discovery, design, prototyping, and deployment—while developing presentation and communication

Qualifications

Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Design (HCD, interaction, visual), or a design-related field.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
Able to start full time in 2027.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design shapes experiences in autonomous and command & control domains.
Define experiences based on product goals, business, customer, and user needs.
Hone visual and interaction design skills, leveraging typography, color, iconography, and layout.
Collaborate with manager to develop design communication and presentation skills.
Present designs and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
Own a feature or workflow end-to-end: discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation with engineers.
Collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers to solve problems.
