Job summary

LatchBio is hiring a Product Design + Frontend Engineer to design and build experiences researchers use to understand, run, and contribute to benchmarks. You’ll shape how researchers interact with AI performance data, present benchmarks, and launches to the world, and help determine whether frontier models can handle complex computational biology tasks.

You will work on problems across product design and frontend engineering, influencing workflows, UI, frontend systems, and marketing

Qualifications

• Designed and shipped products, interfaces, or websites that people love.
• Strong visual, interaction, and product design judgment.
• Fluency with modern HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Ability to move fluidly between design and implementation.
• Ability to identify meaningful product problems and independently take them from loosely defined ideas through production.
• Experience designing and building polished marketing websites, landing pages, or launch experiences.
• Ability to communicate complex technical products clearly through design.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity, setting your own direction, and iterating quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design and build frontend features and interfaces across product workflows.
• Develop and maintain frontend systems and components using React/TypeScript.
• Design and implement marketing pages, launch experiences, and product announcements.
• Translate technical ideas into clear, polished web experiences for researchers.
