Job summary

Benchling, the AI platform for biotech R&D, is building AI-powered experiences for scientists. As an engineer on the team, you’ll blend frontend, backend work with product thinking to drive adoption of AI in daily workflows.

You will collaborate closely with customers, iterate rapidly on onboarding flows, and help design viral loops that scale user activation and retention across our platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building consumer-grade product experiences.
• Experience with instrumentation and metrics collection.
• Strong willingness to learn biotechnology and AI.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product experiences that drive adoption of scientific AI.
• Work directly with customers to understand use cases, gather feedback, and onboard scientific teams.
• Experiment rapidly, designing and running A/B tests, instrumentation, and data analyses.
• Continuously improve our growth platform with frameworks and tooling for testing and scaling experiments.
• Shape how we build AI at Benchling by evolving engineering and product practices.
