Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Machining, manufacturing or product engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong collaboration and communication across multiple locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management software.
• Experience with SAP, NX, and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements with customers and develop specifications.
• Document product specifications, processes and verification needs.
• Support manufacturing to ensure efficient production meeting customer expectations.
• Lead new product development through Kennametal's stage-gate process.
• Drive process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
• Provide technical support to sales, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare quotations for pump components for domestic and international sales.
• Coordinate readiness activities for new product launches.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams for design guidance.
