Halton Company in Scottsville, KY is seeking a Product Design Engineer to design sheet metal parts and assemblies for production. This role focuses on contributing to energy-efficient air handling solutions for the food service industry and involves coordinating with R&D and production teams.

Key duties include validating orders, creating 3D designs, updating BOM, releasing to NC programming, and entering ERP data; a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (2 years related experience minimum).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Validate each line item against approved submittals.
• Assemble drawing and information package for each unit.
• Create 3D designs and sheet metal layouts; produce shop drawings.
• Update BOM information and release to NC programming.
• Create new model designs to meet customer requirements or product development.
• Assist R&D in development and release of products to production.
• Enter BOMs, parts, formulations into ERP.
