Job summary

ZF Gainesville, GA is seeking a Design/Product Engineer to drive application verification and release for chassis modules, and to serve as the technical link between customer needs and ZF solutions. You will support cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality, cost-effective implementations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 3+ years in automotive product engineering, CAD experience (Creo preferred), and knowledge of vehicle subsystems, diagnostics, and data acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in Product Engineering in automotive industry.
• Experience with vehicle sub-systems and operating environments.
• Experience with diagnostics, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to work with Digital Mock Ups - interface checking and fouling checking.
• Creo CAD experience is preferred.

About the Team:

ZF Commercial Vehicle Systems is looking for a Chassis Application Engineer to play a critical role in bringing advanced chassis systems and modules into customer vehicles. In this position, you will serve as the technical link between customer requirements, ZF product solutions, and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective applications delivered right the first time. This role offers broad exposure across engineering, manufacturing, and customer interfaces and is ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, collaboration, and hands‑on problem solving.

Your profile as a Design/Product Engineer:
