Job summary

IDEX Corporation, a global engineering leader, seeks a product designer to lead design improvements and manage concepts, specs, and timelines. You will coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure robust engineering solutions. Travel 5–10% domestically and internationally to support projects and customers. A BS degree in engineering and 3–5 years of design experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Conceives and develops product design improvements and enhancements.
• Defines product concepts, specifications, timelines, and development plans.
• Prepares and delivers technical reviews to internal teams and customers.
• Coordinates design implementation across manufacturing processes.
• Develops catalog specifications and technical documentation.
• Collaborates with Supply Chain to evaluate vendor-supplied components.
• Partners with Sales/Marketing/customers to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Work with Process Engineering to improve manufacturability and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with Quality Engineering to address customer quality concerns.
