Job summary

Storage.ae is seeking a Product Design Engineer to lead end-to-end development of physical products and customized metal structures. You will contribute to mechanical design, material selection, and supplier coordination, ensuring designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

You will manage prototypes, collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, and drive projects from concept through production, with hands-on ownership and a focus on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical product design experience.
• Experience with metal structures, enclosures, or fabricated products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials.
• Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Experience coordinating suppliers and prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Design functional, durable products and metal structures.
• Define dimensions, materials, components, and finishes.
• Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings with BOMs.
• Source manufacturers for sheet metal fabrication and compare quotations.
• Coordinate timelines, quality standards, and production progress.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
