Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in directly related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to utilize Creo CAD software or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ISO and QS quality systems.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Meets with sales and customers to understand product requirements and manufacturing goals.
• Develops final product design models and drawing packages for manufacturing tooling.
• Works with cross-functional teams to quote prototype or production parts and processes.
• Develops shadowgraph charts and inspection routines for manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Performs design tasks for NPI and supports root cause analysis when needed.
