Job summary

Emerson is seeking an engineer with a strong electro‑mechanical design background to contribute to the development of advanced product solutions. You will collaborate with engineering teams to apply fundamental mechanics, GD&T, and tolerance analyses while leveraging Creo/SolidWorks tooling to optimize designs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, manufacturing process awareness, and commitment to high-quality, reliable designs that meet customer needs across diverse industries.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development.
  • Understanding of mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting.

  • A detail-oriented problem solver with a strong engineering mindset. You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute ideas to innovate and improve product solutions. You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting), etc.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem‑solving methods.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills.position
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in Mechanical design or equivalent
  • 2 - 6 years’ experience in product design (Electro‑mechanical products)
