What You'll Do

• Design and develop innovative mechanical products, components, and assemblies that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
• Create detailed product specifications focused on fit, form, and function.
• Partner closely with manufacturing, materials, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define new product requirements and technical solutions.
• Conduct engineering analysis, testing, and validation activities to optimize product performance and reliability.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and component designs to drive continuous improvement.
• Support product quality initiatives and resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
• Document engineering designs, specifications, and development activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-4 years of product design, mechanical engineering, or new product development experience.
• Strong proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals including strength of materials, material selection, and mechanical design.
• Experience with design validation, testing, and engineering problem solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial products, instrumentation, sensors, or engineered components.
• Working knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software and stress analysis techniques.
• Experience with D/PFMEA and risk-based design methodologies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and assembly operations.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
