Overview

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
