This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Work with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekday work available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• No high school or college degree required; open to applicants with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
