Job Title: Part-Time Product Sampler

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage with customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sampling, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
3. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for the sampled products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Comprehensive online and on-the-job training will be provided.

Work environment involves moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse, with some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
