Job Overview

This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand advocacy, or related experience is beneficial but not required. We provide comprehensive online and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

1. Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation.
3. Working with the team to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances like microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.

We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
