This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new products and brands through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand ambassador experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sampling (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Comprehensive online and on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
