This part-time associate samples products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and communicate key points about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekday work available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training is provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment, with some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
