The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The associate acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment and supplies, intercepts consumers and demonstrates products professionally, and maintains a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Stand and walk for the shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Must ensure professional appearance and proper grooming; neat, clean, appropriately groomed; retailer dress code in training documents.
Language Skills: English primary; bilingual may be required based on business necessity.
