Job Overview

This part-time position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by communicating key points about products
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving)
• Work with the team to meet sales goals for the products

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles)
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; weekday and holiday work available
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate)
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event
• No degree or prior experience required; training provided

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Possible exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
