Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking an engineer to contribute to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. This role follows an established operations framework with a defined sequence of tasks to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities include creating parts definitions, 2D/3D models, tolerances, and data formats to support manufacturing and inspection, while applying general business knowledge and collaborating with teams and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline and provide support with specialized expertise as needed.
• Apply general business knowledge and understand how your work contributes to the area.
• Resolve issues using established procedures and consult with supervisor for non-standard problems.
• Collaborate with others to solve issues and interface with customers as needed.
