Job summary

Allied Wire & Cable (AWC) is seeking a Product Data Steward to maintain and improve product master data across ERP, CRM, and related platforms. You will ensure accurate part numbers, categories, descriptions, and vendors, partnering with Product Management and other teams to resolve data issues and set data standards.

The role involves data governance initiatives, evaluating data quality, and supporting new product introductions while balancing day‑to‑day setup with larger improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with product master data in an industrial distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail to identify inconsistencies, errors, and gaps within large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data review and validation.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and interest in using tech to improve data management.
• Ability to investigate data abnormalities and work toward resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product master data across ERP, CRM and related systems.
• Create and maintain new product/part-number records with complete, accurate data.
• Review product information for accuracy and consistency; correct as needed.
