Voodoo is seeking a Game Data Analyst to convert raw data into actionable business insights and drive the next challenge. You will influence hundreds of millions of users with your recommendations and shape game features, economies, and roadmaps.

The role focuses on building production-ready pipelines, dashboards, and robust analyses while maintaining curiosity for player behavior and thriving in ambiguity. Remote days are offered as part of a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist in a fast-paced environment with production-ready data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and rigorous problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Curiosity for games/player behavior and comfort in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Provide insights and recommendations to shape game features, economies and roadmaps.
• Propose AB tests and benchmark practices in competitors' games.
• Oversee tracking design and QA to ensure accurate data collection.
• Develop dashboards and analyses providing actionable insights into product and monetization metrics.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Conduct comprehensive product playtests to refine gameplay mechanics and user experience.

• Providing valuable insights and recommendations to shape game features, economies and future roadmaps.
• Proposing AB Test and benchmarking the good practices in competitors games
• Overseeing the tracking design and QA processes to ensure accurate data collection.
• Developing dashboards and analysis that provide actionable insights into key product and monetization metrics.
• Building and maintaining robust data pipelines
• Conducting comprehensive product playtests to refine gameplay mechanics and user experience.

Profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist in a fast‑paced environment, with strong skills in building production‑ready data pipelines.
• Master Degree in Statistics / Math / Engineering / Economics or other quantitative fields
• Strong SQL with experience querying large, complex datasets
• Experience building production-ready data pipelines
• Experience working with Tableau – advantage
• Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., dbt) – advantage
• High level of analytical and rigorous problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership, builder’s mindset, and intellectual curiosity
• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
• Curiosity for games/player behavior and comfort in ambiguity
