Job summary

Hipcamp, Inc. is seeking a Product Data Scientist to join our Analytics team. You will embed on the Host Camp to deeply understand Host challenges, partner with product and operations leaders, and drive data-informed growth opportunities.

You will design experiments, leverage AI, and translate analytics into strategic decisions that move the business forward. As one of two Analysts, you will work autonomously and collaboratively, shaping the path when not yet drawn and delivering actionable

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product, growth, or marketing analytics or data science.
• Strong SQL and data visualization skills.
• Solid statistics. Designs and interprets experiments.
• ML literacy to interpret model outputs and integrate into analysis.
• Clear storytelling and communication to drive decisions.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Full-stack, hypothesis-driven, implementable solutions.
• Fluency with AI and ability to weave into workflows.
• Comfort working independently and with distributed teams.
• Curiosity about the community Hipcamp serves.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Ops to shape strategy for Host Camp by uncovering growth opportunities and making the analytical case for focus.
• Co-design experiments using model outputs and statistics; set up tests and iterate quickly.
• Keep Host Camp's key performance metrics visible and accessible for all teams.
• Use AI throughout analytics to accelerate exploration, automate repetitive work, and prototype ideas.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build AI-powered analytics platform with reusable workflows.
