Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering with senior/lead experience and government compliance preferred.
• Deep expertise in product behavioral data and telemetry analytics.
• Proven collaboration with Product Engineering for instrumentation of data collection.
• Expert in SQL, ETL/ELT, Snowflake/Redshift, and AWS services.
• Lakehouse architectures and modern file formats like Iceberg/Delta.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve high-scale data solutions serving as reference architecture.
• Develop data quality frameworks with governance, lineage tracking, and change management.
• Drive consistent data modeling patterns and metric governance across the data org.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across data verticals to accelerate delivery.
• Navigate ambiguity and balance short-term delivery with long-term infra investments.
• Champion Data Contracts and schema evolution practices for reliability.
• Mentor senior engineers and scale cross-functional teams.
• Stay at the forefront of the data landscape and guide long-term technical direction.
