Job summary

Google is seeking an Associate Product Counsel for Networking and Infrastructure in the US. You will provide strategic legal guidance on product development, compliance, and policy considerations while partnering with cross-functional teams across Google Cloud.

The role emphasizes advising on AI, privacy, licensing and security issues, supporting global regulatory compliance and complex negotiations with enterprise clients. Strong bar admission and 3+ years of attorney experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD, LL.B., or equivalent practice degree.
• Bar admission and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the relevant state.
• 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or a law firm.
• Experience advising on product compliance issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients as they develop products, services and features, considering compliance, policy, and business needs.
• Help solve policy, AI, privacy, IP, licensing and security issues.
• Advise on global legal and regulatory compliance during international expansion or product launches, or due to regulatory changes.
• Support commercial legal and sales teams on high-value negotiations.
