Job summary

Bentley Systems in Exton/Philadelphia offers a hybrid Product Counsel role shaping governance for infrastructure software. You will help product and technology leaders balance legal risk with business needs across privacy, IP, AI governance, and regulatory matters.

The role partners with the LCA organization to translate complex requirements into practical guidance for product roadmaps, ensuring compliance for SaaS, APIs, and cloud services while supporting a fast-moving software business.

Qualifications

J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
8-12 years of relevant legal experience in-house at tech or engineering software company.
Experience supporting global software products in privacy, data governance, IP, AI governance, cybersecurity, product compliance, cloud services, SaaS APIs or licensing.

Responsibilities

Act as embedded advisor through product lifecycle, connecting with LCA SMEs.
Develop relationships with Product and Technology leadership and understand roadmap priorities.
Translate product strategy into updates for LCA teams and monitor regulatory developments to inform build decisions.
