Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Product Cost Analyst for an Onsite position to support product costing, analysis, and cost improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand cost drivers and provide data to inform decisions.

The role includes developing cost models, maintaining BOMs, and supporting new product development while training and mentorship are provided to build expertise in costing and cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• 0-2 years in manufacturing, engineering, product support, or related field (internships/co-ops acceptable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel/Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product cost models including material, labor, overhead, freight, and supplier costs.
• Create and maintain costed BOMs and manufacturing routings; support cost estimates for new products.
• Analyze cost data, identify trends and risks, and prepare management reports.
