Komatsu in Peoria, Illinois seeks a Product Cost Analyst to support product costing, cost analysis, and cost improvement across the organization. The role collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand cost drivers and provide data for business decisions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, product support, continuous improvement, cost analysis, or related field; internship or project experience considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret technical information and analyze data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical and business knowledge in a manufacturing setting.

Mansioni

• Assist in developing and maintaining product cost models including material, labor, overhead, freight, and supplier costs.
• Create and maintain costed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings.
• Support cost estimates for new products, engineering changes, and sourcing decisions.
• Analyze cost data, identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Prepare reports and summaries to support management decision-making.
• Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Identify manufacturing and product cost drivers.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Help track and report cost savings initiatives.
