Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a part-time, onsite role at the Kohler Design Center in Kohler, WI. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, provide in-depth product knowledge, and develop specifications based on customer needs during visits and tours.

You will also support Kohler Design Center tours, merchandise during warehouse sales, and assist with design-related referrals, while weekends are required to accommodate peak times. A high school diploma is required with college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, four-year college degree preferred
• Previous experience in home project sales, kitchen and bath products, and/or home products preferred
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Interest or experience in interior design recommended
• Prior Kohler product knowledge preferred
• Flexible work availability, with weekends required

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences for Kohler Design Center visitors and customers
• Provide customers with in-depth Kohler product knowledge
• Develop specifications based on customer needs and requirements
• Deliver specification presentation to customer within 24 hours of customer visit
• Develop knowledge of current design trends and convey to customers seeking design information
• Proactively refer customers seeking professional design work to Kohler Design Services
• Resolve customer concerns utilizing Kohler Customer Care resources
• Deliver Kohler Design Center tours to individual customers and small groups
• Facilitate connections with the Kohler Co brand and customers by supporting tour guides and answering customer questions post tours
• Execute product receipt and merchandising for Kohler Warehouse Sale events
• Provide customer service during Kohler Warehouse Sale as assigned by Manager – Kohler Design Center

This is a part-time casual position working a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Specific Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences for all Kohler Design Center visitors and customers.
• Provide customers with in-depth Kohler product knowledge.
• Develop specifications based on customer needs and requirements.
• Deliver specification presentation to customer within 24 hours of customer visit.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current design trends and convey to customers seeking design information.
• Proactively refer customers seeking professional design work to Kohler Design Services.
• Resolve customer concerns utilizing Kohler Customer Care resources where applicable.

Kohler Tour Experiences

• Deliver Kohler Co. knowledge via KDC tours with individual customers and small groups.
• Facilitate connections with the Kohler Co brand and customers by supporting tour guides and answering customer questions post tours.

Kohler Warehouse Sales

• Execute product receipt and product merchandising for Kohler Warehouse Sale events.
• Provide customer service during Kohler Warehouse Sale as assigned by Manager – Kohler Design Center.

Skills/Requirements

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $15.90 - $23.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
