Job summary

HARTING Technology Group in the United States (Americas) seeks a Product Compliance Quality Engineer to ensure regional compliance for all products developed in the Americas, including connector lines, HCS, and CSE products. You will monitor and apply substance regulations to guarantee product integrity and market alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product compliance or materials science.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience mapping regional regulations to products and assessing regulatory impact.
• Understanding and applying product substance legal regulations and technical legislation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regional substance requirements and advise on regulatory changes.
• Map regulations to HARTING products and conduct impact assessments.
• Review processes to ensure substance requirements are considered in development.
• Support PD and internal teams with material compliance matters.
• Collaborate with procurement to close compliance gaps.
• Create data sets and declaration documents (PDs/FMDs) per global rules.
• Enter data into regulatory databases (IMDS, BOM Check, Assent, EPA/CDX).
• Produce other duties as assigned.
