Job summary

Nubank is hiring an experienced consumer compliance professional in the US to lead product compliance advisory engagements and internal testing across US consumer banking products including deposits, credit cards, and personal loans. Reporting to the Head of US Compliance, you will own complex regulatory questions and drive remediation from planning to closure.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in US consumer compliance at a bank, financial institution, or fintech.
• Strong working knowledge of consumer financial protection requirements relevant to deposits and unsecured lending.
• Ability to research and interpret regulatory requirements and develop defensible recommendations.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing compliance reviews and validating remediation.
• Ability to analyze operational and customer data to identify exceptions and impact.
• Strong writing and communication skills to influence across technical, business, and leadership audiences.
• Proven ability to own significant workstreams and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Advise Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing and other teams through the product lifecycle.
• Translate federal/state requirements into practical product requirements and controls.
• Review products, journeys, disclosures and material processes for compliance risks and solutions.
• Document risks, recommendations and escalation actions.
• Lead risk-based compliance testing and monitoring across products.
• Draft and update consumer compliance policies and risk reports.
