Job summary

Nubank in the United States is seeking an experienced consumer compliance professional to lead product compliance advisory engagements and internal testing across our US banking products, including deposits, cards, and personal loans.

Reporting to the US Head of Compliance, this manager-level IC will assess complex regulatory questions, influence product decisions, and drive reviews from planning through remediation validation.

Qualifications

• Strong regulatory judgment and experience evaluating controls.
• Ability to translate complex requirements and findings into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary compliance advisor to Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and other business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Independently interpret applicable federal and state consumer financial protection requirements and translate them into practical product requirements, controls, and business guidance.
• Review proposed products, features, customer journeys, disclosures, marketing materials, and operational processes to identify compliance risks and recommend workable solutions.
• Assess the compliance implications of product and process changes, documenting advice, material risks, and matters requiring escalation.
• Provide effective challenge to business decisions and control designs, working with stakeholders to resolve concerns and escalating material or unresolved risks.
