Job summary

Doosan Bobcat is offering a student program in West Fargo, ND for Co-op or Intern roles across multiple functions. You will gain hands-on experience by working on sustainability, product compliance, data management and lifecycle assessment initiatives while supporting real-world projects with a global leader.

Co-ops provide full-time engagement for 8 months; internships are semester-long, part-time with potential extension.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical, Material, Metallurgical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to chemical usage, emissions, industry standards, and extended producer responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases to support compliance and sustainability efforts.
  • Generate reports and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of product sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product sustainability.
  • Assist in the development of life cycle assessment, product carbon footprint, and environmental product documents.

Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part‑time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.

Co‑op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat’s different functions.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts such as metals recycling and responsible material use.
  • Assist with process development, supplier engagement, project management, and AI Integration.
  • Support existing projects involving material analysis, battery and engine compliance, and sustainability.
  • Analyze industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product compliance and sustainability.
  • Research and monitor current and emerging national and international laws, regulations, and certification requirements to support planning, product launches, and compliance across key markets.
Overall Responsibilities

Data Management and Analysis:

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
