Job summary

Doosan Bobcat invites students to join our team in a Co‑op or Internship program. An 8‑month Co‑op is full‑time, while internships are semester‑long and part‑time.

Opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat’s functions, offering hands‑on experience and exposure to real‑world projects while pursuing your undergrad degree. Based in Bismarck at the Acceleration Center and Fargo Studio, you’ll work on embedded software in C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and Matlab/Simulink, with tests, code reviews, and data

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in relevant engineering or CS programs.
• 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
• Be able to commit full-time for an 8‑month co‑op or 4‑month internship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and/or Matlab/Simulink.
• Create and execute unit, hardware, and on‑machine tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, manage requirements, and utilize project tracking systems.
• Operate equipment, construct electrical harnesses, log, and analyze test data.

Role & Responsibility

Job Requirement

• Sophomore, Junior, Senior standing in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or equivalent
• 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
• Be able to commit full‑time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co‑op (8 months) or internship (4‑months)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
